[Indications / Effects]
Treatment of acne


[Dosage / Administration]
Apply to the affected area twice daily (morning and evening).
Excessive skin dryness may occur; therefore, begin with once daily use.
If skin dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application frequency to once every two days.


[Precautions for Use]
1. Do NOT use in the following patients (or areas):
 1) Patients with hypersensitivity to this medication or a history of such reactions
 2) Patients with diabetes
 3) Patients with circulatory disorders
 4) Around the eyes or on mucous membranes
 5) Areas with infection, inflammation, redness (congestion), or irritation

2. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use in the following cases:
 1) Patients who have experienced allergic reactions (e.g., rash, redness [congestion], itching, swelling) to medications or cosmetics
 2) Patients with liver or kidney disorders
(Salicylates may cause toxicity if absorbed in large amounts; therefore, patients with liver or kidney disorders should not apply this medication extensively or for long periods.)
 3) This medication contains propylene glycol; use with caution in patients who are hypersensitive to or have a history of allergy to this ingredient

3. Discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist in the following cases (bring the package insert if possible):
 1) Symptoms such as rash, redness (congestion), erythema (red spots), or itching may occur; if these symptoms appear, discontinue use.
 2) Dermatitis or skin ulcers may occur with large amounts or long-term continuous use; if such symptoms appear, discontinue use.
 3) If this medication comes into contact with normal skin, local irritation may occur; if such reactions appear, discontinue use.
 4) If symptoms do not improve after several days of repeated use, discontinue use and consult a doctor or pharmacist.
 5) When administering salicylic acid products to children or adolescents with chickenpox or influenza, the possibility of Reye’s syndrome should be considered.

4. Other precautions for use
 1) This medication is for external use only. Follow the specified dosage and directions for use.
 2) In cases of purulent (suppurative) dermatitis, moist dermatitis (intertrigo), or erosion (maceration), treat these conditions first before applying this medication.
 3) Use with caution when applying to large affected areas, as adverse reactions are more likely to occur.
 4) Take care to avoid contact with skin other than the affected area.
 5) Avoid contact with the eyes, nose, mouth, and other mucous membranes. If it accidentally gets into the eyes, rinse thoroughly with a sufficient amount of water and consult a doctor.
 6) If this medication is accidentally ingested, consult a doctor or pharmacist.
 7) Use in pregnant and breastfeeding women
   a) Animal studies involving oral administration of this medication have reported teratogenic effects; therefore, use in pregnant women or women who may be pregnant should be limited to cases where the therapeutic benefit outweighs the potential risk.
   b) There are reports that this medication is excreted into breast milk; however, its effects on infants are unknown.
  c) When administered to breastfeeding women, do not apply to the breast area.
 8) Use in children
   a) When administering to children, use under the guidance and supervision of a guardian.
   b) Children are more susceptible to adverse reactions; therefore, do not apply large amounts over wide areas or use for prolonged periods.

5. Storage precautions
 1) Keep out of reach of children.
 2) Store in a cool place, avoiding direct sunlight whenever possible.
 3) Do not transfer this medication to another container, as this may lead to misuse or accidents and may compromise product quality. Always store in the original, tightly closed container.
 4) Keep away from open flames or heat sources.
 5) Keep the container tightly closed when not in use.
